Hylink Partnership Agreement Signing

Hylink Group is China's largest independent digital advertising agency. With an expansive global reach, they help clients navigate the Chinese market and achieve their goals.

Hylink’s clients, Tmall.com (the world's second biggest e-commerce website), and Alfilo Brands (an industry leading consumer products company) signed a partnership agreement with The British Museum.

 

The challenge

The renewal of the partnership agreement was to be marked by a signing ceremony and exclusive dinner at the British Museum.

Following a competitive tender process, Hylink chose DisplayByPark to help transform the location in to a powerfully branded back drop. The work had to be suitable for the exclusivity of the occasion, and installation within a challenging 10 minute time-frame!

 

The results

*Using freestanding covered frames, stands and cut-to-shape graphics, we transformed the venue.

*We created a powerful, branded backdrop which provided a photo opportunity for the gathering of global industry leaders.

*Our colour consistent print ensured the brand colours were 'held' across all the elements within the display.

*There was a last minute change to the location of the event within the museum. This meant rapid on-site changes to the supporting mechanisms, however, installation was still completed within the 10 minute time-frame.

Hylink was completely ‘wowed’ by the quality and impact of the displays. As a result they are installing the frames into their UK offices to show their clients.

 

Our solution

We had bespoke, shaped, freestanding frames specially constructed (5m x 3m and 3m x 2m). These were then covered with a branded canvas print.

For the canvas, we recommended a block-out fabric, which enabled a vibrant reproduction and ensured no light would show through during photographs at the signing ceremony.

We also produced bespoke black stands and printed cut-to-shape graphics.

Technical drawings of the proposed frame, and photographs of each element were sent to Hylink’s Head Office in China for approval.

Our GMG colour profiles (calibrated for the highest stability and consistency) ensured that we accurately matched colour across the different substrates.

To make sure we met the 10 minute time-frame, eight staff were on-hand to move the large canvas frames into position and deal with any installation issues.

A last minute change in location within the Museum, prevented us using the planned frame supports, but our ingenuous installers quickly created clamps and hooks on the spot, all within the allotted 10 minute time-frame.

Linedata Exchange European Summit

MotivAction is a team of innovative people, creating motivation, communication and events solutions.

MotivAction’s clients, Linedata Exchange, host a series of premier events designed to encourage dialogue between key decision-makers in the asset management, credit and leasing communities.

MotivAction chose Sea Container Events, event space to host the Linedata Exchange annual European Summit.

 

The challenge

To brand the Cucumber Bar and auditorium, the most exclusive space at Sea Containers Events. The installation was limited to a short 4 hour time-frame during which access to the area would be restricted.

This needed lateral thinking, traditional methods would be too time consuming and expensive.

MotivAction sought an innovative and creative partner who could guarantee quality. They needed a partner to work within the restricted time-frame and to the original budget.

DisplayByPark were chosen for our creative ideas, cost and time reducing solutions, quality and supportive approach.

 

The results

Park's innovative solutions delivered powerful and colour accurate branding, installed within half the normal time, to a high quality, and at no extra cost.

MotivAction, Linedata Exchange and Sea Containers were highly impressed with the whole process. They commented that they had never experienced better. On the installation they were unable to comprehend how we achieved so much, with so few people, in such restricted areas, and in time!

 

Our solution

We surveyed the site with MotivAction and Sea Containers to measure, check for obstacles (such as sockets) and test adhesive samples, to guarantee that the venue would be left undamaged.

Traditional vinyl and wallpapers could not be used for the wraps as they would take too long to install. Instead we used a ‘block-out’ roller banner material. This brought the added befit of masking uneven surfaces and allowed all graphics to be installed in one piece, reducing the install time by a huge 70%.

Removable, repositionable vinyl was used for the wall to ensure a clean and easy removal.

Using our GMG colour profiles (calibrated for the highest stability and consistency) we were able to accurately colour match Linedata Exchange’s corporate colour over different substrates.

During the install, we were only allowed short, broken periods of time in each area. We worked closely with the Sea Containers to manage access, readjusting our installation plans as required.

DataDog UK Summit

Datadog is a monitoring platform for cloud applications, bringing together data from; servers, containers, databases, and third-party services. Datadog ensure their customers avoid downtime, resolve performance issues, and get the best user experience.

They host hundreds of events each year, including an Annual Global Summit.

The challenge

The high profile, London summit, was their first outside the USA. It needed to wow their customers (a community of developers/users) and convey the strength of their brand and offering.

A London based team was required to manage the manufacturing and installation of the display elements for the event, as Datadog is based in New York.

 

The results

DisplayByPark transformed the space into a powerful branded experience. We did this by ensuring colour consistency across each of the elements, which helped to optimise the brand experience.

Repositionable vinyl and clings, supported with roller banners, podium graphics and window clings were used because we could then guarantee no damage to walls or windows.

 

Our solution

DisplayByPark stepped up to the challenge, liaising with the designer and the venue’s Event Management Team. We carried out a site survey, proposed solutions for each element, manufactured, installed and de-rigging in a very short time slot.

Elements included:

* wrapping in the main room, where the keynote was being presented (the top section of the wall equated to around 50m of print),

*windows graphics to maximise brand presence across the entire footprint,

*freestanding screens and banners, differentiated by their robust quality,

*wraps and covers to podiums and the cloakroom desk,

*and printed booklets to be handed out at the summit.

Using our GMG colour profiles (calibrated for the highest stability and consistency) we were able to accurately maintain the colour theme across all elements - display and booklets.

We printed the logo using white ink, to ensure the DataDog logo remained strong when installed on the windows. While the surrounding purple print was slightly translucent, the white DataDog logo remained solid and vivid.

The windows at the venue were protected with an anti-UV film. To avoid damage to the film covering, we used a clear cling using static rather than adhesive to stick.

To help convey the strength of the Datadog brand, we chose robust, high quality, screens and banners.

Four installers attended the installation which ensured that installation was efficient and fast

The customer and the venue’s Event Management Team were all very impressed and commented on our professional approach.
