Datadog is a monitoring platform for cloud applications, bringing together data from; servers, containers, databases, and third-party services. Datadog ensure their customers avoid downtime, resolve performance issues, and get the best user experience.
They host hundreds of events each year, including an Annual Global Summit.
The high profile, London summit, was their first outside the USA. It needed to wow their customers (a community of developers/users) and convey the strength of their brand and offering.
A London based team was required to manage the manufacturing and installation of the display elements for the event, as Datadog is based in New York.
DisplayByPark transformed the space into a powerful branded experience. We did this by ensuring colour consistency across each of the elements, which helped to optimise the brand experience.
Repositionable vinyl and clings, supported with roller banners, podium graphics and window clings were used because we could then guarantee no damage to walls or windows.
DisplayByPark stepped up to the challenge, liaising with the designer and the venue’s Event Management Team. We carried out a site survey, proposed solutions for each element, manufactured, installed and de-rigging in a very short time slot.
* wrapping in the main room, where the keynote was being presented (the top section of the wall equated to around 50m of print),
*windows graphics to maximise brand presence across the entire footprint,
*freestanding screens and banners, differentiated by their robust quality,
*wraps and covers to podiums and the cloakroom desk,
*and printed booklets to be handed out at the summit.
Using our GMG colour profiles (calibrated for the highest stability and consistency) we were able to accurately maintain the colour theme across all elements - display and booklets.
We printed the logo using white ink, to ensure the DataDog logo remained strong when installed on the windows. While the surrounding purple print was slightly translucent, the white DataDog logo remained solid and vivid.
The windows at the venue were protected with an anti-UV film. To avoid damage to the film covering, we used a clear cling using static rather than adhesive to stick.
To help convey the strength of the Datadog brand, we chose robust, high quality, screens and banners.
Four installers attended the installation which ensured that installation was efficient and fast
