Park wins Environmental Company of the Year – SME, at the 2022 Printweek Awards

Park is thrilled to announce that we have once again been named Environmental Company of the Year at the Printweek awards.

Judges said…

“When you’re an environmental trailblazer, then in theory the law of diminishing returns applies. Not in Park’s case.”

Park won the award thanks in part to the work we’ve done to educate the wider industry about sustainable printing. This includes resources such as:

  • 9 sustainably printed annual reports: a review by Park. Read here
  • White paper: sustainable print for sustainable business. Download here
  • Sustainable printing tips: download the free guide here
  • Sustainably printed indie magazines: 10 leading titles reviewed here
  • What do you mean, sustainable printing? Learn the basics here
  • Our sustainable printing hub, regularly updated with the latest case studies on our work for sustainable businesses and brands.

This production, the Make a Mark book, is a sustainably printed collection of innovative packaging designs, also nominated under the Book Printer of the Year category. Read our case study on this here.

Park’s sustainability services:

Offering the latest, innovative recycled materials, and sustainable printing processes from chemicals usage to waste reduction, Park is proud to be one of the UK’s most eco-friendly printers. We work to EMAS, the EU ‘gold standard’ for eco-friendly businesses, and hold ISO 14001 certification.

Carbon-neutral printing is also available, thanks to our partnership with Climate Partner. This allows our customers to choose environmental initiatives for their carbon offsets to support, and add QR codes to their productions so readers can learn more about how their carbon budget was spent.
