Ted Baker summer collection catalogue printing

SILK SCREENprinting
SOFT MATTcoating
HIGH-PIGMENTATIONinks

Ted Baker needed to capture the strong, textured fabrics and vivid colours of its new spring/summer collection.

Park answered with a bright, bold catalogue bursting with light, with soft matt coating used to complement rich, high-pigmentation inks.

Working to a strict ‘no-fail’ time schedule ahead of a press launch and global distribution, we troubleshot multiple printing options to guarantee perfect results.

The particular challenge was combining the acetate cover and saddle-stitched binding, both specially requested by the client – as the sensors on the binding machine did not recognise the clear acetate, and early trials left the cover scratched.

Our experienced team tackled both issues by silk screening the inner side of the acetate, and adding a border to the trim that could be picked up by the sensors.

Finally, custom-designed outer envelopes dressed up the catalogues in summery style.
