Riposte: creative magazine printing

THREEcover options
7-dayturnaround
mixedstocks

A new design for Riposte Magazine meant a new print partner for directors Danielle Pender and Shaz Madani.

Park was enlisted as a creative partner, to find ways to evoke the magazine’s new, slightly more mature feel, in a quality print production.

Three different magazine covers were printed. All three received a stylish laminate coat, and Park recommend UV varnishes on two of the covers, to add lift.

A mixture of coated and uncoated stocks used for the interior pages, increasing the visual impact and creating a tactile and dynamic reader journey.

Park had a tight budget on this brief, as well as a short seven-day time frame. With our guidance, the client saw all their requirements exceeded in a truly creative, captivating magazine.

Many businesses have struggled during Covid-19, but some magazines have proven surprisingly resilient. 10 indie magazines tackling sustainability

10 Jul 2020

Independent magazines have always pushed the boundaries of culture. This hasn’t always been to their financial advantage. More often a labour of love than a business, they’re typically side projects alongside somebody’s day job. Sadly, many are too short-lived. But this is also part and parcel of what makes the indie mag. With principles and …

Much of the dialogue around print and digital publishing pitches the two as alternatives. But is this really the case? The magazine publishing scene …
