Halcyon Gallery: Ernesto Canovas art exhibition catalogue

Print Week Awards 2018 Finalist

The Halcyon Gallery needed exhibition catalogues that could capture the striking artwork of Ernesto Canovas in the ‘In One Breath’ exhibition.

The client wanted the catalogues to look and feel like coffee-table books, with a particular focus on capturing the emotion and vibrancy of Canovas’ work.

Park responded with a flush-finished case binding and a revealed spine, hand-applied and foiled under the personal supervision of our experienced Account Director.

Adhering to ISO 12647-2 colour standard, we accurately matched the signed-off proofs, and applied a fast-drying aqueous coating to the pages. Not only did this help to meet the client’s 10-day turnaround time, it also reproduced the originally artwork beautifully in an evocative pearlescent finish.
