Brochure design & printing for Woolley & Wallis Auctions

11-dayturnaround

In the fast moving world of art sales, time is of the essence. When auctioneers Woolley & Wallis approached Park to design, retouch and print three catalogues concurrently, with a 17 day turnaround, our in-house team was more than up to the task.

The client provided a paste-up of the pages for all three products, outlining the imagery and copy to be included.

We created templated pages and formatted both English and Chinese text. Images were then dropped into the template, with particular importance shown to image scaling. We were able to turn around signed off pages in 11 days from the supply of files.

While all of the images supplied by the client were colour-correct, we checked and retouched the backgrounds of the supplied photography to ensure a smooth print with no banding.

The customer was provided with hard copy proofs at 100% size.

Each catalogue’s cover was finished with a gold, silver or bronze foiling, adding a premium finish to the respective products.

Once approved, the catalogues were printed and ready to be delivered within six days, and were mailed out as a trilogy in recyclable cardboard book wraps.
