Watson & Company: property marketing brochure and clamshell box
Having printed with us before, Watson & Company returned to Park for a high-profile project for one of their biggest clients.
The print job was to be a book to accompany the full brand launch for a Miami construction company. Since the launch spanned a number of mediums, it was important that the book tied in precisely with the other branded elements – in both the vibrancy, and quality of images.
The book was thread sewn and case-bound with Winter & Co Wicotex Brillianta white – a real cloth which was printed on our litho presses in 4 colour process.
This presented a creative challenge for Park. Our printing team applied their expert knowledge and experience with bespoke projects, conducting trials to precisely control the colours used and ensure a perfect final result.
We worked very closely with the Watson & Company team on creating the print files, and provided paper dummies and proofs for the cloth printing, text pages, and clamshell box.
The text pages were printed on the uncoated Munken Polar Smooth, from G.F Smith. This material balanced a pleasing texture with superb image quality, accurately reproducing the highly colourful photography.
We debossed the cloth for an attractive flourish. The book was finished with coloured edge printing of the text to match the design on the printed endpapers and printed wrap on the clamshell presentation box.
