Unusually Brilliant Brands: Watson & Company portfolio

RECYCLEDmaterials
OTAthread-sewn binding
196 coffee cupsper book

Watson & Company wanted Unusually Brilliant Brands to be a visual celebration of their achievements, to be shared with partners, clients, teams and collaborators.

Park helped them meet the objectives of creativity, innovation and sustainability, selecting for the text Extract Moon, an unusual material made partly from recycled coffee cups (196 per book, to be precise).

Striking Gmund Electric Blood was chosen for the cover, finished with eye-catching foiling.

During proofing, Park collaborated with the client’s retouchers, making recommendations on the images to ensure the finished production looked spot-on.

As with every Park project, we observed the ISO 12647-2 colour management standard, ensuring faithful reproductions of the agency’s brilliant work.
