Universal Philatelic Auctions: catalogue printing

Attention to detail is second-nature to Park, but few productions demand quite so much care as our work for Universal Philatelic Auctions.

Each edition includes photographs of around five thousand individual stamps, and 20,000 lot descriptions.

Every stamp is photographed individually, and the perforated edges of every stamp meticulously straightened to ensure a perfect layout on the page.

When it comes layout, this creates a real puzzle for Park’s production team, testing and trialling to balance beautiful aesthetics with cost-effective pagination.

The whole process is repeated for every quarterly edition, and printed and mailed quarterly to 6,000 stamp collectors worldwide by Park’s in-house distribution team.
