U+I: annual and mini report printing

2-inchmini reports
Clear foiledcovers
FSC certified
Colorplan coverin White Frost, 350gsm

U+I is a new annual report for Park, produced and designed by an existing client, Gather.

Park produced their main report, as well as a fun-size mini report. Reduced to just two inches high, this was an exact replica of the main version with the same print features, conceived by the client to add some quirk and amusement to their annual report.

The client wanted a creative front cover that overlaid ‘SIMPLE’ over the word ‘COMPLEX’, mirroring U&I’s business approach and the way in which they make complicated projects more straightforward.

Several tests were undertaken in order to find the best approach, trialling spot UV varnish, black foil and debossing before eventually settling on a clear foil.

For the text pages, Park used a combination of CMYK, Pantone colours, and a second black ink which underpinned the solid areas and made them rich and prominent.

The report was PUR-bound, with Colorplan in White Frost of 350gsm. This is an acid-free paper with a textured quality, chosen for the cover stock and with FSC-certified Amber Graphics for the text.
