Twelfth Night by Mary McCartney: photography book

MAGNO HIGH-VOLUMEpaper
KEAYKOLOURcover stock
HAND-FINISHEDfront panel
FOUR-COLOURblack inks

She and Thomas Persson, the designer, approached Park to help capture the images in print. The book needed to match and prestige and intimacy of the project while keeping within a modest budget.

The client wanted a matt, tactile feel for the text stock. We selected an unusual Magno High Volume paper, which can only be sourced from Europe, whilst the cover was created from affordable-yet-attractive Keaycolour.

The cover image was printed on an anti-scuff, matt, laminated board and hand-placed within a debossed panel on the front.

Following the print run came the book-signing party, and a special surprise for Park: two copies returned to us, signed by none other than the photographer and her subject.
