Stardust by Stefano Curto: Halycon Gallery exhibition catalogue
Modern-art haven Halcyon Gallery needed out-of-this-world exhibition catalogues for Stefano Curto’s Stardust exhibition.
Curto works not in paint, but crystal – with an average 60,000 pieces individually placed for each artwork to create dazzling displays of colour and light.
Park’s Senior Retoucher worked with the gallery to find the winning formula for translating this effect onto the page.
We put together three potential paper stocks for the client to pick from before applying our specially-developed stochastic screen alongside a conventional 200# screen.
Ink density on the printers was turned up to the max, and a sleek, spot-gloss varnish was applied for maximum brightness, colour and depth.
