Métier by Laura Braun: hardcover photography book
Laura Braun’s Métier photography project is an intimate celebration of small businesses in London, conveying the pride and industry of those who survive and thrive as independents in the big city.
Having previously been impressed by previous examples of our work, “the quality of which was outstanding”, Braun chose Park for her print production.
We recommended two uncoated stocks for their honest, tactile feel: Xper for text stock, thanks to its exceptional ability to hold rich colours and detail, and Meterica Clay for the dust jacket, channelling the concept of workmanship and craft through its intriguing textured surface.
For a creative final flourish, the volume was naked-bounded in multicolour thread, and we’re proud to say the artist was delighted with the results.
