Magazine printing for Dropped, a new independent title
With 130 independent magazines amongst our clientele, Park’s experience is often valued by first-time publishers producing their first editions.
So it proved to be for Dropped, a cycling magazine marked out by beautiful colour photography.
Alex came to Park after seeing the work we had done on the fine art magazine, émergent. He requested a 100% recycled material – a production challenge with photography, due to the often rough, off-white finish of recycled stocks.
Park recommended Nautilus Superwhite for the text stock, a premium recycled paper renowned for its excellent ink density and sharp detail.
Before committing to a full printing run, Park produced a bound-book proof to allow the client to preview the look and feel of the magazine. Once approved, the magazine was printed and delivered within six working days.
Client testimonial
"Park became so much more than just our printing company. They provided guidance and support on print specifications, paper qualities and helped us to print in the most efficient way possible. They also highlighted potential issues very early on, to avoid any surprise costs later in the process. Not to mention, they provided all of this support throughout the global pandemic! It was a joy to work with a printer that cared about producing the best possible product, as much as we do."
