Contract publisher ILN and Aston Martin recently published the 50th issue of their customer magazine.

ILN came to Park to produce this landmark edition, which came with a demanding schedule in order to achieve a specific distribution date.

The issue is contained by a false half cover, which wraps around the magazine at half the page width of both the front and back of the magazine.

The blue false cover carries a white gloss foil of the Aston Martin wings logo. The false cover printed on 350gsm Edixion Offset provides an eye catching, modern and tactile feel whilst the smooth surface allows for accurate colour reproduction. This was essential as this cover is printed in a solid special blue ink, chosen to echo the image of the Aston Martin DBX 707 car on the magazine’s main front cover underneath.

The main cover was printed on 300gsm Arctic Matt and finished with a silk laminate for a smooth and high-quality feel. The text was printed in 4 colour process on 130gsm Arctic Matt, and the issue was PUR-bound on Park’s high speed binding line.

The magazine was produced in two languages, English and Mandarin, and after attending our press-pass, the client was delighted with the finished magazines which were delivered and distributed on time.
