Corporate social responsibility

The value of values

We are very fortunate at Park, and we want to ensure that others benefit from our success. Our corporate social responsibility starts with the environment, but doesn't stop there. The important thing is to help where we can, and we do:

Trees for Cities

Since 2008 we’ve been supporting independent charity Trees for Cities, which works with local communities on landscaping projects to ensure the sustainability of green spaces.  To date, we have contributed to the planting of over 900 trees.  We have a partnership agreement where we commit to printing their Annual Report each year.

Richard House Children's Hospice

We support Richard House Children’s Hospice in Beckton, a charity very close to our hearts.  Richard House opened in 2000 and it supports the families caring for children with life-limiting and complex healthcare needs, creating positive experiences that become good memories for the future.  The hospice relies on donations to continue its invaluable work, we support them through reduced price or free of charge printing, donations and regularly supply them with paper for arts and crafts.

Tackling homelessness and mental health issues

By providing eye catching and beautiful print, Park Communications have been able to support EMMA; an edgy, enigmatic and intriguing magazine, tackling homelessness and mental health issues.  EMMA showcases artwork made by residents of Arlington, the largest mixed use homeless hostel in the UK, who help people to move on to secure homes and more stable futures.  Residents can express themselves and experience the healing qualities of creativity.  The art therapy improves morale, increases self-image, and by creating a magazine to showcase their work, residents get a feeling of self-worth.

We also support local schools, nurseries and community groups with donations of paper, pallets and white paper dummies.
